What's happening at the Markets this week:
Old Tyme Days
November 20 - 22
Old Tyme Days is more than just another shopping opportunity. It’s the chance to return to an era when you knew where your food was grown, how your meal was prepared, and to meet a person who takes pride in creating just the right gift you are looking for. We thank you for taking the time today to support the local farmers, restaurateurs, craftspeople, & boutiques who make this market a special place to be. Thanksgiving Holiday Food Drive
November 22 is the last day to help the Amish Markets at Hanover support the Hanover Area Council of Churches' Thanksgiving Holiday Food Drive. Please bring your non-perishable canned goods to the Market during regular market hours from Thursday, October 2nd through Saturday, November 22nd. All donations will be given directly to the Council in support of their special Thanksgiving Holiday meal as well as their many ongoing programs. Did you know? The Hanover Area Council of Churches assists an average of 150 local people in their dining room every day of the year! They also feed 35-40 people through their "Meals on Wheels" program and, with great volunteer support - serve Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day meals to those in need. The Council also operates the PAL program (provide-a-lunch) on a daily basis as well as the Ruth's Harvest Program, which supplies meals over the weekends for school-aged children.
NOW through December 5
The Amish Markets at Hanover is proud to assist the Hanover Rhinos in their annual Toys-For-Tots drive this year. Please bring your new, unwrapped gift items to the Market during Market hours. A drop box will be on-site from October 23rd through December 5th. Toys will be collected and donated to the Hanover/Adams County Chapter of the United States Marine Corp - who distributes the toys to local area children.
